About Dzavid Haveric:
Dr Dzavid Haveric (PhD Vic Uni., MA Deakin Uni.) is an Adjunct Research Fellow at Charles Sturt University - Centre for Islamic Studies and Civilisation, and Research Associate at the Museum Victoria - Humanities Department. He has worked as a Project Officer and Program Assistant at the Parliament of the World's Religions (Melbourne) within the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC). He was a Research Assistant and Project Worker at the Institute for Community, Ethnicity and Policy Alternatives (ICEPA), Victoria University. He also worked as a reporter at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Radio Program for the Bosnian Community. He is the author of a number of books including: History of the Bosnian Community in Australia: Settlement Experience in Victoria (2016); Islam and pluralism within the West: A collection of essays (2014); The Australian Minaret: Outline of the periodicals published from 1961 to 1971 (2013); History of the Muslim Discovery of the World: Islamic civilisation within the plurality of civilisations (2012); Australia in Muslim Discovery: historical rediscovering of Australia by non-Muslims and Muslims (2006); Islamisation of Bosnia: Early Islamic Influence on Bosnian Society (2008); and Bosnian Muslims in Australia: A Historical Overview (1999).
